Vxworks FTP connection

i have developed a python based Gui that transfers boot img file to VxWorks on a sbc, normally the file is getting transferred between two computers, but when it comes to VxWorks it is not happening, why is it so? if there is an option for enabling ftp option through kernel options (before build) or some other way, then please let me know. Thanks
